I’m a musician and visual artist who has always been both creative and analytical. I’m most passionate about living a creative life, having graduated from Union College with a double major in Music and Studio Fine Arts. There, I developed and strengthened skills in performance, composition, oil painting, and much more. Upon graduating, the straightforward path I had planned was halted by severe health challenges. During this detour, I determined the best way to continue my music and art is to support them with a career that provides stability without putting financial pressure on my creativity, while making use of an analytical side that was dying to be used. This led me to pursue an additional Bachelor’s in Computer Science at Western Governors University. Having always been strong in STEM, I’m returning to the problem-solving skills I loved in high school. Being a student again has been exactly what I needed to see improvement in my ongoing health issues, protect my creative sanity, and begin rebuilding my artistic skills. I hope to build a career in tech that provides the stability I need to continue healing while releasing music and making art without compromise. I am a dedicated candidate for support because I am working hard to navigate this transition while managing the financial and physical toll of my health journey. Pursuing this degree with no current income is a significant challenge, but I am committed to finishing this program to cover my medical expenses and move forward into a career that sustains both my livelihood and my creative soul.
