Hi, my name is Emily, and my life goals are to be a physician assistant. I plan to help those in need while giving my full attention and being passionate about my career. I've always wanted to work in pediatrics because I enjoy seeing smiles in children. I hate seeing children sick and in pain which is why I want to be there for them and help find a solution to their problems. My nephew was in the NICU for 98 days and is now as healthy as ever after being told of the many complications he could've had. That right there gives me hope for other children and the boost to never give up just like how he never gave up. I know I can't get too attached for professional reasons but I would do anything I can do for them. It is my dream to learn and grow to become a physician assistant. I'm dedicated to school and new opportunities while being optimistic about the outcome of my future. I come from a low-income family, where my father had to work 2 jobs and my mother stayed home to watch and care for my brother and me. My parents give me motivation every single day and one of my most important goals is to be financially stable in the future. I will forever be grateful for what they did for me and I will continue to achieve better things. I know there will be bumpy roads to get where I want to be but, I'll overcome every single one. I'm incredibly passionate about my decision to work in pediatrics in the future and will stay persistent in keeping my goals. I'm grateful enough to be able to attend a University as I start my journey in August 2022 as a freshman.
