Bio

My passion in life is life itself. In short, I had it all; my husband three kids- one was mine from prior relation-one his from an prior- and then our child, had the house just moved into, just earned my degree in business, was working with substantially good income in comparison to what had just two years prior, had just got an new car (that was an first) and life was great. So it seemed. I lost it all, an injury at work. Everything fell apart fast I couldn't grasp it. 5 years later I can say, i finally have begun to get back on the right track. My community, people had forgotten about, and some new friends I made along way are what gives me the strength, the passion to continue, especially when the ability was there for me to help others providing household services to those who couldn't afford it. Thats why I formed my business. But after all I still need to further my education to continue moving forward without the financial strain myself. As i have kept business affordable, my profits are minimal, same as anyone I struggle from time to time. I am looking to earn the educational background and certifications needed in construction and environmental studies.

Generation wealth to me means exactly how my life has been. An journey of learning the importance of work, what we are worth, and learn what it is to be successful. The society we live in has had many changes and advances in all aspects. Thus lending to change in what is considered to be wealthy or taking part of the new found careers that have increased monetary gain results in comparison to last generations.

An house is not an home; is only an dwelling. An home; life.... It thrives from our energy, harbors, and breathes; same as you or me. My goals are simple at best. The work to be done is massive. The training is never ending, which suits me well. Preservation is my goal. The same as having an child to carry on the family name, the ability to repair, renovate, and do general upkeep; defined equivalency. I have already progressed towards this goal, overcome obstacles, and will not fold. I like many others though can even use some assistance with affording my education. I still work each day, and now attend SJVC Fresno, and am on my way to obtaining my electrical certifications. Which puts me another step closer to obtaining my C-10 licensure through the state of California. While it is not required to do my own private he, its required just as much as smarter to have for working on anyone elses dwelling.

Doing what I love and loving what I do. Thats what I do to earn my living. Being someone raised up around an younger disabled sister and mean older brother, with poor household conditions, I have learned an wide array of skills, alot of which I am proud to utilize daily. I can say the life I has as an child is what gave me the strength that got me through some pretty tough times as an adult. I don't see purpose in changing just to make others happy, nor to fit in. I see it fit to change to make life better for me. But even that has limitations. Staying true to myself, has got to be the one thing I can say is easiest. When I have tried to make others happy by changing hair color clothing or even trying to change the way I see things, I cannot stand to look in the mirror. I always argue with myself to say in the least.

Everyone needs help at some point, but in which way? Of asked members of the area I reside in, many of the answers has to do with everyday life essentials, needs, and concerns. Sounds familiar right? In many ways it likely is, in others though, perhaps not. These mountains and hills, are full of life. Most of the homes here have been here since the history of our communities began. With that, many homes need maintenance, lands need to be cleaned up, and so much more. Thats where my skills have been formed, have matured, and have come in handy for so many people. My skills are what earn my living as well. Of all my skills, I have an knack in an few areas. Its always been hard to decide which to focus on, until recently. I have made the choice to expand my electrical trade skill through higher education which will enhance my ability to continue towards achieving my career goal completely. To improve my skill properly the education is an absolutely neccessatated part to achieve my success. Improving my communicative skills with others, finding my presence once again when in an room of peers, and expansion of my abilities, even correction of an few bad habits from throughout the years, are all ways attending SJVC will improve my skills. And in addition, the improvements of my skills will benefit my clients, my business standings and allow room for change in the future.
