Hello! My name is Emily Mateo, and I am a senior at Lynn English High School. My dream is to become a nurse practitioner, specializing in endocrinology so I can help young diabetics like me. I am deeply involved in music; I sing at my church, school, and for organizations such as the Handel and Haydn Society. I also play the cello and serve as Cello Principal in the Lynn All-City High School Orchestra, along with playing the piano. In addition, I participate in my school's student council as the Lead Executive and am a member of the National Honor Society. I believe that no challenge is too big- it just takes the right mindset.
