As a child, I loved the arts. My favorite thing was dancing in the living room to music, playing guitar, and looking at different magazines and books that showcased art. As I grew older getting into my teenage years, my teacher in high school gave me a camera to go outside and take pictures. That moment changed my life, and what I would want to do for a career. The rest is history. After this season, the Lord called me to ministry in 2021, and I started attending Southeastern University in Douglasville, GA. I started to see the Lord using this passion in ministry work. Jesus radically changed my life.
I want to speak the name of Jesus to unreached people groups in the world. My goal is to eventually create a film about the Gospel, and the depths of God's love for his children. He changed my life, and I want others to experience that same love.
Receiving a scholarship would mean the world to me, and eventually, the seed that is cast on the ground will begin to grow! I love that analogy. One person must cast the seed first, and till the ground for the plant to begin to grow. This process takes time but is so very awarding to eventually see the fruits that come from that one seed. My prayer is that we would eventually see positive change in our world, that we would share the solution: Jesus, and that we would be aware of the change that we hold in our hands: the Gospel.

How do I want to make a positive impact through Photography, film, and music? To answer that question, I want to speak the name of Jesus to unreached people groups in the world. My goal is to eventually create a film about the Gospel, and the depths of God's love for his children. He changed my life, and I want others to experience that same love. One thing I love to think about is the parables in the New Testament. Jesus spoke these stories to help those he was speaking to understand exactly what he was saying. Often, when humans hear stories, they imagine themselves as a character in the story. These stories speak to the heart and often play a character that relates to our inner being. That is the power of storytelling. That is the power in film-making.
