Hello everyone, my name is Emaria Banks, but I am known by my loving family, strong community, friends, and teachers as a reliable, caring, and hardworking individual with leadership skills and a deep passion for healing. My mom often says I have "Healing Hands," meaning I’ve always tried to fix things, even when others thought it couldn’t be fixed. From a young age, I knew I wanted to become a nurse, inspired by how my pediatrician cured me of a serious illness. That experience sparked my drive to pursue nursing and help families in need, just as my pediatrician did for mine.Alongside my dedication to healthcare, I have always loved art, which has offered me a creative outlet and a way to express my emotions. I believe art and healing go hand in hand. Both require compassion and creativity to make a transformative impact. As I move toward becoming a nurse, I see the connection between these two passions and how they can help those I care for.

TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) Ult Group Scholarship
Growing up, I’ve always known I wanted to make my mark on the world by helping others. Even as a young girl, I was the kind of person who would jump at any chance to help someone—whether they needed it or not. It was clear to everyone around me from elementary through high school that I was meant to become a nurse. My passion only grew stronger after completing two extended anatomy courses in high school, which opened my eyes to just how complex, fascinating, and life-changing the medical field truly is.
I’ve always wanted to be the person that brings light to others, especially in their darkest moments. I’ve shadowed nurses and doctors, worked internships in hospitals, and seen firsthand how professional empathy and teamwork can heal and uplift. One moment that really impacted me was meeting young refugees from countries like Afghanistan, who’d survived unimaginable healthcare conditions. Witnessing their courage and the way nurses treated them with kindness and dignity reminded me exactly why I want to dedicate my life to this field.
Coming from a financially struggling household with parents from very different and difficult backgrounds has not been easy, but it has fueled my ambition. My mother battles diabetes every day, and I’ve seen how that illness can strip away someone’s quality of life. I push forward for her—for every glucose check, every hospital visit—because I want to one day help find a cure not just for her, but for millions. I know that with proper financial support, I can thrive in college, make the most of my opportunities, and give back to both my community and the medical world.
My dream is to become a nurse who doesn’t just treat symptoms but inspires hope, compassion, and resilience. Every patient I’ve met, every sick person I’ve seen fight to live, reminds me why I’m doing this. That’s why this scholarship isn’t just money to me—it’s a lifeline, not only for my education, but for the patients I’ll help one day. I plan to pay for college through scholarships, work-study programs, and any job opportunities I can find. If I’m blessed to receive this award, I’ll make sure it counts—for my family, my community, and my future patients.
As for what keeps me inspired on the hardest days—TXT (Tomorrow X Together) has played a huge part. I became a MOA during one of the most overwhelming times in my life. Their music spoke to my heart, especially songs like "Blue Hour" and "0X1=LOVESONG", which made me feel understood in moments when I felt invisible. What sets TXT apart is not just their talent, but the way they connect with fans through raw emotion, storytelling, and their beautiful brotherhood.
My favorite member is Taehyun, because of his emotional depth and sincerity. His journey from a trainee to a global artist reminds me that no matter your background or how tough the path may be, perseverance and heart can take you far. TXT's messages about youth, dreams, and resilience have not only helped my mental health but also kept me grounded in my desire to help others, just like they help their fans.
TXT influenced my career by reminding me that healing isn’t just physical—it’s emotional too. Just as their music has comforted me, I want to be a nurse who brings that same comfort to someone else. Whether through medical care or emotional support, I want to be someone who changes lives—just like TXT changed mine
