Emani Dixon Antioch University | Psychology & American Sign Language I am a dedicated student pursuing a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University, New England. Originally from Chicago, I am now based in Boston, immersing myself in research, experiential learning, and cross-cultural engagement. My passion for language and communication has shaped my academic journey. I am proficient in English, American Sign Language and Arabic and currently studying Korean. This multilingual ability enhances my research interests in psychology, language, and identity, particularly in relation to marginalized communities. I am deeply committed to equity and inclusion, with a strong focus on women's reproductive rights and access to specialized services. My academic work reflects this passion, driving my pursuit of interdisciplinary research and advocacy. Beyond academics, I am an avid traveler, having visited six countries. A formative experience was studying abroad in Morocco during high school, which deepened my appreciation for global perspectives in psychology and social justice.
