Bio

My goal is to become an osteopathic physician with a specialty in anesthesia and pain management. Osteopathic physicians have a unique understanding of the human body and the ways that it can heal itself without the use of conventional medicines that cause side effects. I have always had a passion for medicine because of the health problems experienced by both of my parents as I grew. I live in an economically disadvantaged neighborhood in which the graduation rate is consistently less than 60%. In order to give me a better education, my parents enrolled me in private school. Because private school was costly, they had no money to help me through college, therefore I worked throughout college and applied for scholarships to pay for my undergraduate degree. While in medical school, because of the course load, I will be unable to work to pay for tuition out of pocket. I would be grateful for anyone who has the means to donate money for myself and others in order for us to pursue our dreams.
