I’m a multimedia visual designer utilizing print layout, information organization and digital editing to make representation and opportunity more accessible and achievable. My practice primarily consists of printed media such as magazines, newspapers, and short books, but also contains a wide array of photography, video work and brand building.
I believe everyone deserves to be well informed and have an adequate path to genuine opportunity. In a state of growing inaccessibility and over-complication, I aim to break down barriers for the common person by combining cohesive printed layouts that break down dense topics into understandable graphics and my affinity for community-led projects to serve as an open, accepting and clear helping hand.
My largest ongoing project, YarnBomb Zine, is an arts collective publication created for the sole purpose of uplifting small and/or underrepresented creatives, giving them an opportunity for community connection. With this project, I aim to provide an action packed, entertaining and loving home for the work submitted directly from the art community. Since beginning this project in 2022, YarnBomb Zine has gone on to feature over 350 creatives across seven issues, has been donated globally to 75 libraries and collections, and has distributed over 700 copies throughout its lifetime.
Currently, I’m working towards a BFA with a focus in Visual Communications Design so that I may continue to work to provide aid for those who are often left out of the conversation of representation and opportunity.
