Bio

Greetings Visitors! Welcome to my page, you probably would like to know about me. Well, let me enlighten you! I will be a sophomore at the University of Colorado Boulder in the fall of 2024! Sko Buffs!! My major is Computer Science, a lofty goal but, I've always aimed high! My goals while at school are to learn to code, and everything that comes with computers, tech, and the engineering field. With knowledge comes power, and I would like to be well-equipped for whatever industry will accept me when I have graduated and finished. You probably also have noticed my interest and hopes to minor in Sports, Kinesiology, and Physical Education/Fitness. To me, this is translated to mean becoming a Physical Therapist. Why is this an interest and desire? Well, I have a genetic syndrome or disease that gifts me with chronic joint dislocations and other issues. I have and will spend the rest of my life working with and being in Physical Therapy to help learn how to use best and maintain myself. I would most like to help advocate and teach others how to do the same. As I have learned for myself, I would like to show others how it is not that hard with each injury there is always a way to heal and a way to work around the norm that is set for you. I live with the motto of Do your best. You cannot be perfect, but you can do your very best. And do not let life hold you back live it to the fullest and well.

In 2014, an orthopedic surgeon was ready to perform a laparoscopy to look for a possible hernia. Once the hernia is found, the surgeon plans to make an incision through several layers of intestinal fat and muscle wall, which may cause intense post-operative pain. Afterwards, the damaged tissues will be cleaned up and the area will be sewn up with regular stitches, allowing the patient's skin to grow and stretch over time. The surgeon will be assisted by nurses and other medical staff, throughout the procedure. Fast forward, to the year 2024, the patient has grown up and is waiting in a different medical office for a new hernia repair. This one will be much different: surgeons no longer do it all with their hands. Now they have the assistance of robots that can calculate incisions, cleanings, and repairs down to the smallest milli-inch. Yes, the surgeon still controls the robot; however, they no longer need to rely solely on their own hands, minds, or those of their medical staff. The robot also makes it so the incision itself is not as invasive as it previously was. Thus, making the healing time much quicker. They will also use dissolvable stitches, which is a much better and easier way for most young or older patients. These disappear with the healing process, and there will be worries about whether the skin will need to be able to stretch out and or grow more as these stitches automatically allow it. From shoulder replacements using mini-CNC machines to hernia repairs using arm and hand robots and even brain surgery robots. These amazing technological creations have been integrated into the medical field to assist with doing things that surgeons could and could not do previously. It is amazing how far it has come. It is quite the change within just 10 years. Technology in the medical field has come so far and will go further I am sure of this. I am very much looking forward to seeing how it will continue to change and grow over the next 10 years and beyond.
    Book Lovers Scholarship
To read or not to read, that is the question. I would read and have the world read a moral book, a book with character, a book of stories, of good and evil, with love and pain, I would have the world read the Bible. After all the Bible tells of creation, of perfection failed, and a fallen world, it speaks of sin and evil, a devil and a God, of sadness and loneliness. It tells of joys and gladness, of love and romance, of songs and parties. It has everything dramatic a book lover could ever desire! Even some of the confusing items that authors write into stories that the readers never can follow along with. So, in conclusion, what is not to love about the Bible?! Now I get it, you could read it as a work of religion but that would depend on the perspective of the reader. Besides, are not all books written with some ounce of religion in them? Almost all written works have some form of good vs evil, what not to do vs what to do, morals and convictions, all amazing writing that makes them such enjoyable reads. I would only give the world the small advice of taking it as they will and how they want. They can (if they so desire) take the Bible as law, or simply a book but I would never want it forced upon anyone ever. It is only my recommendation for a very good read with everything in it that a book lover could want. An exceptional work of literature in my humble opinion.

Must you make me and the people suffer by asking this question? Just one book? Why? There are so many amazing books out there picking just one is horrible! I have read and read and read so many amazing books this is going to be difficult but I shall try my very best to respond to this question by gene and hope I do well for the poor people who must only live having read one book in their lifetimes. I suppose it can't be a series either because that would be more than one book and thus not count. That is also sad and terrible. Sorry, just a bemoaning book lover here choosing a book for the world to read. The Bible. There, done and finished. Now this is not religion-related, it is philosophy. I am leaving the world one book to read, and we oftentimes get guidance from books true? I know there are many opinions on the bible and its "translations" however, at the base it has some general morals to live by. Be kind to people, Do not murder, Do not steal, etc. So I would be leaving the world with moral learnings and general guidance. People also like stories, romance, heroes, villains, and so on. The Bible has these as well. Again, no matter what you think or believe of it these are stories and you can sit down and read them like a real book and enjoy them (or not). So I would be leaving the world with tales and stories of all types. People like poetry, and people like music. The Bible has whole sections of poetry and music. Of all types doesn't matter what you're into you just add some, any kind of tune and music and you've made it work. I've left the world with music and poetry. In the end, (and I know this is a unique topic) I've left the world with a mix of everything. Religion-related or not that would depend on how you as the reader take this. But to look at it as a whole it makes logical sense and not in a religious way just logic and reason. But again I leave it to the readers to decide.
Revolutionizing Robotics and Computer Sciences Scholarship
Programming to me is an art form, I know many people would not agree, and some people do not even understand what I'm saying. But I have programmed since I was young and have enjoyed creating many unique (to me) things. I have done Java, C+, C++, Arduino, some Python, and others I may have forgotten now. I have made robots dance, played with balloons and so much that I have enjoyed myself over time. I take pleasure in all that I have done because I programmed it and created it. It's a wonderful thing to do something, create something and say "I did that!" But while I take pleasure in doing these things others want to do them but can't. For example, a grandma loves her phone, she loves her computer and her TV. Her technology is her life and her joy too and she wants to do more with it. If we were to revolutionize anything I would say it be the way we program programs. Almost 30 years ago in the 1980s when computers were big and clunky the only programs that ran had only 2 commands, simple. (I'm specifically refferencing the 1980 Atari 400 model of computer) I wouldn't recommend we go back to big and clunky, but I would recommend we go back to simple and few commands for programs. I believe there are some iPhones, computers, TVs, and other pieces of tech that could greatly benefit from being simplified a bit. I love the way we program now and all the effort that goes into what we do. However, I have also seen many people struggle with it. Including people who are very "tech-savvy" as they say. So creating, revolutionizing, or simplifying for people an iPhone or computer should not be that hard. You could argue that this isn't the same thing, programming and an iPhone, but an iPhone is just a tiny computer so just writing a code to make it simpler for someone to use would not be that hard really. Now I understand that I'm writing this from the viewpoint of a computer scientist (hopeful and main goal) who believes coding is the "fix it" solution for all things technological, but I do want to mention that there are and would be a lot more data, information, and sciences to go into such a project. But I think it would better help the general population. It would potentially make it more accessible for marginalized communities, and harder-to-reach areas. Also, it would be much easier for "non-tech-savvy" folks who do love their tech but do not understand it in any way. Again more research would have to go into such a project but it is a grand goal and such a revolution could be life-changing to so many people.

Why do math and coding go together? That has always been my question, when I write code I don't see the same thing as when I'm doing math formulas the "music and rhythms" are not the same to me. To me personally I don't see the point of math mixing with coding, they are two separate entities. I can code and I do not need math, I can do the math and I do not need to code, so to me one can exist without the other. Because of that initially, I never planned to get a math degree but just to plunge right into the world of code, computers, and programming. But what one person plans another laughs at. As it appears that to get an IT degree you need a math degree, and together in the work-life/force, they both look really good. All advisors agree to this and very highly recommend it, well not just recommend, require it. An interesting balance it seems, I understand how computers, code, and some math go together and thus the degree is seemingly necessary. For example, probability, angles, and geometry, all of these could be easily coding requirements. But x's and y's and find them in multiplying or adding all seemingly simple equations, I do not see them as computer requirements to learn for a degree. All goes to show I have a lot to learn. All of these numbers 1's, 0's, x's, and y's somehow must come together and make sense otherwise this would not be a requirement to learn. And I am eager to know, learn, and see how all of it fits together in full harmony. You'd have to ask me in a year after my first semester probably what I've figured out and if I've found the secret of the numbers and if they match one another.

The world of 101010's most exciting and fasanating! How could one not be drawn in and overwhelmed by the interestingness of it? Financially, This schollarship will help very much as I struggle with the ups and downs of tuition and expenses of going to school. I have always loved and enjoyed STEM, programing, and the sience behind what makes a computer a computer, this is why I want to continue to pursue my passion and get a deggre in Computer sience. I find the programing and the 1's and 0's most interesting and exciting, the thrill to programing and inventing something new is so cool to think about. Most of all you are the creator and the programer, and because of that whatever you make belongs to you. Unless of course you along down the road sell it. But still you will always be the "father" or "Creator" of whatever it is you have made that could potentally help the world and make change. I believe that is what the money of each donor, scholar, or scholarship recipent should do, make some amazing and good with the money they have been given even though yes, alot of it is going into paying the school which they are attending. Now I may not be the best at essay writing, or writing in general but I know how to work and fix a computer and that is where my skills are best at. That is where I'll take my career and future, play on my strenths not my weaknesses. I am most excited and hopeful about the programing I can learn, how everything combines together to make a whole in whatever each piece of computer, iPhone, drone, whatever the gadget may be. Without one you cannot have the other that is fasanating to me. I hope to pursue that intrest long into the future. With my two bigest ventures being either enturpernureship or milatary assistance. Both are quite computer, and programing savy. Both are in need of new and improved equipment. I can see myself inventing things the world can use to help in everyday life for constant years to come. (I already have and idea of one thing I could pump out.) For the milatary I would love to assist in the protection of my country from whatever threats may come our way. Blowing up evils from the safety of our offices and just using programing and or programed drones sounds like an amazing job. I have many desires for the future. I believe that tech has come a long way but still has a long way to go. It'll continue growing for as long as people enjoy it and want it to. And I want to be a part of that and see where and how far it can go.
