Hello! My name is Ellen. I am an ambitious and hard-working individual who recently graduated from Belmont University with Magna Cum Laude honors, earning a B.B.A in Economics and Hospitality & Tourism Management. Starting my University journey at 17, I have always been driven by a commitment to excellence and a passion for learning. In September, I will attend Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences to pursue an MSc in Sustainable Business. My passions lie at the intersection of the hospitality industry and sustainability. With a vision to revolutionize the restaurant industry, I aspire to leverage my personal background growing up on a family farm, my academic knowledge, and hands-on work experience to create more sustainable practices in the Food and Beverage industry. I aim to contribute meaningful conversation and action to foster environmental consciousness and partnerships between farms and restaurants. Throughout my academic journey, I have been involved in various projects and internships that have honed my skills and deepened my understanding of sustainable business practices. My experiences have reinforced my belief in the importance of integrating sustainability into the core operations of hospitality businesses. I am eager to embrace the challenges and opportunities that graduate school will offer. I look forward to engaging with a diverse culture and cultivating the skills necessary to make a positive impact in the field of sustainable hospitality and socially responsible businesses.
