Hello, My name is Ella Quansah, and in my career, I want to utilize neuroscience to improve mental health treatments for eating disorders. I was inspired to do so due to the need for improvement in such treatments and personal struggles with my weight and body image. My interest in neuroscience stemmed from several articles suggesting how the field can enhance mental health interventions. Aside from academics, I am also passionate about volunteering. Every summer, I volunteer with my local church in Vacation Bible School (VBS) program. I help with setting up the activities and aid the children with creating the crafts. In my spare time, I like to read and watch YouTube videos.
