WinnerBio
Hello, my name is Elizabeth Ordona. Anyone who knows me can confirm that the quickest way to my heart is anything car-related. My passion for motorsport is fueled by a love for cars and the complex engineering behind them. Now, I am turning that lifelong fascination into a career by studying Aerospace Engineering at UC San Diego.
As a transgender Filipino-Indian male, I rarely see my own intersectional identity represented in engineering classrooms or racing garages. I am pursuing motorsport engineering not just to build fast vehicles, but to break barriers in a historically exclusive industry. By claiming my space at UCSD and in the racing world, I intend to serve as a visible pioneer. My goal is to prove what is possible and pave a clearer, more inclusive path for the next generation of diverse minds in STEM.
