From Capitol Hill to the hospital floor! I’m pursuing an Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Pace University in New York City to turn my background in healthcare advocacy into direct patient care. As a former lobbyist for Native American Tribes, Division I swim captain, and tutor within the D.C. Jail system, I’ve built my career around service to all within my community. Nursing is the next step in that commitment because it allows me to fulfill a childhood dream and better people's lives, not just indirectly through policy, but directly with individual-level care.
