In high school I took a total of 8 AP classes (Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Calculus BC, English Language, English Literature, Government, Macro Economics). I also have taken a total of six Honors Classes (Geometry, Algebra 2, English 1-2, English 3-4, Physics). A huge challenge I faced in high school was completing my Japanese class. I decided to take Japanese my first year of high school and I really enjoyed it, but the teacher left the next year for better job security since the school district had to make budget cuts. Instead of going into Spanish, I pursued Japanese and had to take Japanese 2 online with BYU. This was much harder and less enjoyable than the first year, but I stuck with it and completed it. The next year, the high school did not offer BYU online anymore so I had to find another UC approved Japanese 3 course myself. After searching for a long time, I finally came across iLead online which would help me complete my requirements which I worked on in Junior year and am finishing now. I have also been involved in many extracurriculars like ASB, Basketball, and Robotics. While juggling all these activities, I have been able to maintain a 4.5 GPA and have only gotten 1 B grade.
