Hello! My name is Eliada, and I am an undergraduate student at the University of South Florida, majoring in biology on the premed track. I aspire to become an OB-GYN to help improve our inadequate women's healthcare system. As a first-generation college student, I am inspired by my parents, who immigrated to America from Eritrea, a small country on the Horn of Africa. In the future, I hope to join organizations such as the Red Cross or Doctors Without Borders, where I can provide adequate care to individuals suffering due to war or unavoidable circumstances. Additionally, I have a passion for studying art history, as it offers a glimpse into the past and varies in interpretation based on the viewer's time period, much like the light from prism at different angles! I also enjoy learning new languages, including Norwegian, Arabic, Chinese, and Spanish; though, I am fluent in Tigrinya. Having the privilege to pursue higher education, I am committed to making the most of the opportunities I've been gifted and helping others achieve sensational things.
