Children’s smiles are so effortless. I want the world to get back in a time where going out in every day life feels that easy most days and that most days doesn’t feel like war or survival mode. I was recently told by a stranger I’m sunshine in any darkness, and also told by other strangers the same week that my smile is contagious. That’s the feeling that I enjoy the most. I want everyone in the world to feel, it makes you feel so powerful that you can make others feel so good while you are in each others presence and leave with great energy. I am dedicated to creating a better life for my child and I, so that I can get to a space to be able to help more children. It starts with them, to be able to mold them into a better human. I want to someday soon have a foundation in an area near me to create awareness around them for etiquettes, voicing their opinion correctly, using their imagination, showing their talents, embracing others, and proper grooming. Having a foundation focusing on these skills with passionate staff around me is a major goal of mine. Being a single mom has been hard, as I grew in this world around me I learned that most of all I wanted my child to be a good person overall. Last year my child and I were homeless sleeping in our car at Walmart, it was the kindness I received from people that I paid attention to most, no one knew our story but when I went in stores it was the smiles that I got from people walking down aisle that made me keep going, simple! Now today is so much better. A few months ago my daughter and I dog was kicked by a stranger and suffered with broken ribs, I didn’t have much when I took the dog to be seen at the hospital. I put him on a payment plan and worked more hours doing DoorDash and Instacart to pay for his medical bills and nursed him back to good health, now he adores me and I can’t keep him off of me, lol! I know I taught my daughter well because she said, “mom just a few months ago we thought he wasn’t going to live and he was really sad, now look at him he’s jumping off the wall, everything takes time.” So yes, that’s how I know that the future will be better, situations like that!
