I plan to make a difference in youth violence by showing and becoming a more loving person in my community. I love helping younger kids at baseball camps or social events that that give my an opportunity to connect and help guide some of the youth that are growing up with so much hatred and violence among us all in today’s society. Being a good role model for the next generation is very important in order to try to help bring more love into this world. Solving issues with your mind and not your fists will be much more beneficial and productive than physical violence. I know my church group involvement has helped me generate connections with my peers that struggle with life issues good and bad and has been a big influence on my life decisions. As we grow up to be adults and mature; if we haven’t been taught or introduced to the right tools in order to handle situations the right way that’s when the probability of youth violence, crime, drugs and etc. come into play more and more. I plan to stay involved with my church and want to become a high school leader so I can give back. It seems evident that young people are heavily influenced by the community where they have grown up and live. People obtain their values and foundations of the worldview in childhood and adolescence. That is why youth violence can be caused by the background of those who perpetrate or experience abuse. n the modern world the norms that guide transitions and relationships from family to school and work have come under immense challenge. These challenges have seen to the collapse of the smooth socialization process that the young need to become productive in the society. This is why I will be passionate on pursuing the importance of teen groups or gathering among our churches and communities in our local areas. It has helped me and I feel it will help with today’s struggles with youth violent. Getting our schools involved with more positive resources available for our youth could help with todays violence also. Educating our teachers on what to look for in students that are troubled or show signs of violence could also be a key factor we should look into in solving this ongoing problem that seems to only increase than decrease in our society today and help make this world a mor loving place to live. Get rid of the hatred for the future of our people.
