I am a 22-year-old born and raised Alaskan scholar maintaining a 4.0 GPA while completing my third degree (Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences) that I will use to apply to Physician Assistant (PA) school. I am a full-time student and Certified Medical Assistant. I have hands-on experience in primary care, supporting patients through compassionate clinical care. I have completed over 160 hours of volunteer and clinical-shadowing work with the Food Bank of Alaska, the American Red Cross, Make-A-Wish, and specialty clinics to deepen my understanding of the communities I want to serve. A grant would help me take the next step toward becoming a PA. In this role, I plan to serve medically underserved populations and provide care in ways most cannot: with cultural sensitivity, clinical skill, and a deep personal commitment to improving access to care and health outcomes for those who need it most.
