I came to America on an F1 student visa, driven by the aspiration to become a doctor or pediatrician. However, as my academic journey progresses, the challenge of balancing extensive work hours with rigorous coursework has intensified. Financially, sustaining my education has been a significant struggle. Without the support of my parents, who have limited income and are not present with me, managing both work and school has been arduous. Despite these hardships, I have earned my Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification to begin my journey in healthcare. Yet, my ambitions extend beyond this milestone; I am currently pursuing a Medical Assistant certification to deepen my knowledge and expertise in the field. Obtaining a degree is paramount to me because it is the gateway to achieving my ultimate dream of becoming a doctor. Although there are numerous ways to earn a living, including through social media, my passion lies unequivocally in healthcare. I firmly believe that a formal education provides the stability, profound knowledge, and professional credentials essential for a successful and impactful career in medicine. Despite the obstacles, my commitment to this goal remains unwavering. However, I am reaching a point where the financial burden threatens to impede my progress.
