  Music education is an essential part of a well-rounded education, but unfortunately, many students in underserved communities lack access to quality music instruction. That's where the DG Fine Arts comes in. This organization provides private music lessons to students in underserved communities, giving them the opportunity to develop their musical skills and talents. By working with local schools and community organizations, this organization identifies students who would benefit from private music lessons and matches them with skilled music teachers. The lessons are provided free of charge to the students, and the organization provides the necessary instruments and materials. The impact of this organization on the lives of these students is immeasurable. For many of them, music is not just a hobby, but a lifeline. Music can provide a sense of purpose, discipline, and community that can be difficult to find in other areas of their lives. By providing private music lessons to these students, this organization is not just helping them develop their musical abilities, but also providing them with an outlet for self-expression and a sense of accomplishment. In addition, the organization is helping to level the playing field for these students, giving them access to the same opportunities that their more affluent peers have. This is not just about giving students the chance to play an instrument; it's about creating a pathway to success and empowerment through music.

  TACA is dedicated to making the Dallas arts community one of the strongest in the nation by investing in the arts community in three ways. Financial Investment: TACA provides financial support to Dallas arts organizations through grant programs. Arts Professional Development: General nonprofit professional development is easy to find. But the arts are different! TACA curates arts-specific workshops, roundtables, and other development opportunities to arts leaders to help them work smarter, not harder. Engagement: We work with our arts partners across Dallas to create unique, behind-the-scenes experiences for our donors and supporters.

  Over the past three decades, Morgan Stanley employees have provided millions of dollars to ensure that kids from 5 to 21 with cancer can attend The Valerie Fund’s therapeutic overnight summer camp in the Poconos called Camp Happy Times and enjoy a fun Spring Morgan Stanley-sponsored “Rec Day” at the zoo! It has also supported the free psychosocial services for patients and family members that are woven into The Valerie Fund kids’ medical care, which is the hallmark of The Valerie Fund. This includes social workers, psychologists, child life specialists, educational liaisons, palliative care, integrative medicine, and more. The typical cost of these services over a standard 3-year course of leukemia treatment is $48,000. For kids with sickle cell, a 3-year course of psychosocial care is upwards of $62,000.
