1. When did you find TXT? Being an ARMY and k-pop fan since 2018 I found out about TXT during their debut when their song Crown went viral. However, I became a MOA about a year ago when the Star Chapter: Together album came out. 2. What do you think is one of the most important characteristics of a MOA? When I think about MOA and TXT I think about stars. I think of MOAs as little stars that shine really bright next to each other. MOAs to me are the sweetest people, always gentle and very smart, ready to help out a fellow fan and build a community. 3. Do you have a TXT bias, and if so, why did you choose them? My bias is Beomgyu and my bias wrecker is Yeonjun. I chose Beomgyu because of how silly he can be sometimes! As a person I am always very serious and responsible and I feel like seeing his funny videos allows me to relax and let go of my worries about work or future. 4. Who is your ult bias, if any, of any group? My ult bias is Suga. I’ve been an ARMY since 2018, and I fear I’ll be in that fandom for life. I also love seeing BTS and TXT interactions, they’re so cute!! 5. What is your favorite TXT song, and why? My favorite song keeps changing but in the last year Over The Moon has been at the top of the list for me. It is such a gentle and sweet song and I keep crying everytime I listen to it and read the translation. 6. Have you had a chance to see TXT live in concert before? Yes! I was able to go with my friends to both days in New Jersey Prudential Center during the Act: Tomorrow tour in the fall 2025. I went with my two best friends who are also MOAs and got me into the fandom. It was my first time seeing TXT live and I had so much fun! 7. What was your favorite album concept, and why? I like the new album 7th year: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns concept of anxiety and depression as it is something I can very easily relate to as a refugee from Ukraine. For the last four years my life has been filled with sadness, and the k-pop community has been keeping me alive. This album made me love TXT 100x more than before, they’re so genuine. I really appreciate their honesty and ability to share their anxiety and be vulnerable in front of their fans. 8. How are you currently paying for school? I am getting a student loan through Fafsa and asking the financial office of NYU for additional grants, however their tuition for the grad school program is $27k per semester and my loans and grants will not cover everything. I am also working part-time as a sales associate at Best Buy to be able to cover my rent and tuition as my parents are not able to financially support me. 9. How will the scholarship help you? What gaps can it fill? The scholarship can help me with my educational expenses not only for tuition but also school supplies as well as food and housing as I am stepping into the new chapter of my life, the grad school. 10. How has TXT influenced you for good? TXT brought me into a beautiful community and strengthened my friendships. Their concert gave me the reason to keep studying, keep working and simply keep living. 11. How will you use your education to do good in the world? After pursuing Marketing master’s degree I am planning to work for non-profits to help them build marketing strategies to spread positive messages and required information to the people in our community. If I get very lucky, after gaining years of work experience I will attempt to join Hybe’s marketing team to work for our favorite idols!
