I am a Master of Social Work student at the University of Texas at Austin and a former commissioned U.S. Army Intelligence Officer. As a first-generation college student and military veteran, I am deeply committed to service, ethical leadership, and expanding access to mental health care for underserved communities. Currently, I provide trauma-informed counseling and crisis intervention to survivors of family violence and exploitation under LCSW supervision. I conduct psychosocial assessments, safety planning, and care coordination to support individuals facing complex behavioral health and socioeconomic challenges. My experiences in both military service and clinical practice have shaped my belief that healing begins with safety, dignity, and access to compassionate care. The Army strengthened my ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound, ethical decisions in high-stakes situations—skills I now apply in clinical social work practice. I am passionate about empowering individuals affected by trauma and systemic barriers to achieve stability, resilience, and long-term healing.
