Hello! My name is Devin and I am an excellent candidate because I am dedicated. My passion since I was in middle school was anything related to medicine. To help make this passion into a reality, I applied to a competitive month long summer medical program (STEP) at the University of Rochester when I was twelve. I was fortunate enough to be accepted, and for the last six years of my life I have attended this program, getting hands on experience doing dissections, shadowing doctors, and having the opportunity to explore different healthcare professions. Along with my interest in the medical field, I love playing the piano, which I’ve been trained in since I was six, singing, and I also enjoy spending time with my friends and family. As of right now, my goal is to go into Emergency Pediatrics as a PA. I would love to be able to help children and their families and I have experience interning in the ER so I feel that I would be able to take on the challenge. As you scroll though my bio, you may notice that along with being in high school, i have also been taking college classes since I was fourteen. While completing all of my high school requirements, I have spent each semester taking two college courses and now am on track to graduate this upcoming year with thirty one college credits.
