I intend to have a significant impact on my community by concentrating on various crucial areas, utilizing my business management degree. Initially, my goal is to establish and assist small-scale enterprises that offer employment opportunities while also fostering a spirit of entrepreneurship in the youth. I aim to support others in transforming their ideas into successful businesses by providing guidance and resources, which will contribute to the economic development and stability of our region. Furthermore, I aim to support and put into action financial education programs specific to our community. By hosting workshops and seminars, I can assist individuals in making educated choices regarding their finances, savings, and investments, as a lot of people do not have the necessary financial education. Another objective is to work together with local non-profit organizations and community groups to lead efforts in tackling urgent issues like education accessibility, affordable housing, and community growth. With my experience in business management, I can improve efficiency, maximize resources, and boost the effectiveness of these organizations. In the end, I view my education as a means to empower and elevate my community, generating chances for progress and achievement while nurturing a positive atmosphere for all. I was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Growing up in Milwaukee has influenced me in ways I didn't fully realize until later in life. Milwaukee has the highest incarceration rate for black males in the country based on statistics. 6 black men out of every 10 are incarcerated. I mentioned how simple it is to become a statistic by falling prey to the streets. If you intend to escape this situation, you must have a well-thought-out plan, which is exactly what I had. I intended to improve both my life and my community through my plans. Therefore, one could argue that my surroundings influenced my development, as I was determined not to conform to prevailing trends and instead, decided to improve the community I live in. Just by attending college, I was able to inspire hope in the black boys and girls in my community, demonstrating that they too can succeed and leave the city. It demonstrated to them that they can resist the allure of the streets. I've become a role model and a leader in my community, with a strong desire to help more black girls and boys attend college for self-improvement. After I graduate, I am going to come back to my city and change lives and inspire people in ways I never thought I could.
