Purple Dream Scholarship
Being a young single mom lost in this big world is not easy. Growing up trying to graduate high school no job and support my child. I knew that I want my child to have what I didn’t have growing up and i knew i had to push no matter what. I graduated and went to college I’m still in school so i can start my own business.. I’ve struggled for a few years but i know everything is going yo be alright.
If i was to get this scholarship it would mean the most to me. It will make me feel like I’m a winner and give me more hope to keep pushing. January this year i was diagnosed with cancer stage one. I want to be able to keep my head on straight and walk across the stage and show my daughter this is what success looks like. I just want better for be and my daughter. If i don’t make it to see 2027 i want my daughter to know her mom wanted nothing but the best for her.. Once i graduate and earn my degree I’ll be able to open a few businesses and leave them to my daughter.
I never won anything and winning this will mean the world to me. I’m so grateful to be able to apply for this scholarship. I have words for every young single mom. We need to stick tougher together don’t give up no matter what the world throws at you no matter how hard it gets don’t give up. Don’t be like me and wanted to end it all and give up, i use to think my daughter was a mistake but she was actually my hero, she saved me she pushes me she’s the reason i am still standing today.
School is so important and no matter what there is always someone that’s wiling to listen and help you through. I thank my daughter everyday for coming into my life. My daughter only have me and I want her to know because dad is not around my mom showed my nothing but love and didn’t let me go without. My daughter will have her a college fund waiting for her once she 18 so she can know education is so important and no matter if mom is here or not, push don’t look back and reach but the stars.
