I'm Denali, I grew up without socials when I was younger, which is a blessing in how I've been shaped today. Back then I developed a connection to nature and creativity, strengthening my ability to innovate and connect to family. I still remember going into the woods with my friends and building forts from sticks. I always remember being so excited for when I could grow up and go to college, and in a way, I wanted to rush away, now, I realize how much I truly cherished that time with my friends, running after their puppy or picking apples together behind their house. I feel sadness that a lot of younger kids are missing out on the true meaning of childhood, I'm glad to some extent I've preserved my disconnection from social media even as I've gotten older, as I believe it helped me and will continue to help me be unique. I am excited to try anything adventurous or new. In 2020, I discovered a passion for songwriting and have since been glued to music and lyrics. Around the same time, I unearthed my adoration for business through hearing about young teen entrepreneurs, and coupled with my strong love for organization, creativity, and leadership, I found a pull. I hope to go to college majoring in engineering, possibly chemical, and later move into a more business-related role in that field. I'm a strong worker, solo and collaborating, and I am always up for a challenge. I will continue to scribble down innovations and business ideas in my many notebooks while writing possible song ideas into the margins.
