The Best Man ever Manifested! I am Proud to say that my father is the Best Man, on the planet. Not only is he an inspiring spirit and well rounded individual, he is caring and concerned about my well being. I am his legacy and he reminds me, often. We are both confident in our actions and enjoy my mother who is a Phenomenal woman. My father is a blue collar steelworker who works many hours and different shifts for almost 30 years, now. He is committed to providing for my mother and myself through out the years. My wish is to someday, provide for my parents and allow them to have the freedom of enjoying their elderly years without financial stress. I am my fathers only child and son and I carry his name(Demetrious) which I am very proud of. My father has his goals and strives to achieve them. He has achieved many goals, already. I have a great role model and confidant, in my Father. I aim, to make him proud, and this scholarship can help with my continuing my studies in order to achieve, this. When I'm having a bad day, he knows what to say to lift up my spirits. I've learned to appreciate everything and never to take for granted, anything. My father grew up in the 70s and 80s and has a keen style for fashion. He is a great advisor in proper and appropriate wear for whatever the occasion is. I truly appreciate that. We travel across country to visit my older brother and his family, in California. He has grown to be a great man with the aide of my fathers guidance. I will also take my fathers guidance and incorporate it into my family values, someday when I am a family man. My father maintains the Bill's in our household and my mother(a nurse) helps, but the main Bill's are paid by my father. I think a man should provide and care for his family as the head of the household because a man protects his family. Financial stability is very important in a family.
