One of my most important life goals is to build a loving and supportive family while ensuring their security, happiness, and growth. I want to provide for my family, not just financially but also emotionally and spiritually, creating a stable home where we can thrive together. More than just meeting their needs, I aim to teach my children essential life skills, how to be kind, resilient, and independent, so they can confidently navigate the challenges of the world. I hope to instill strong values in them, such as integrity, compassion, and perseverance, while guiding them to make wise decisions in life. Ultimately, my goal is to raise a family that is not only successful but also deeply connected, caring, and prepared to make a positive impact on the world around them.
I am deeply passionate about my work and take great pride in giving my best effort in everything I do. Whether it’s a professional project or a personal goal, I thrive on dedication and persistence, refusing to leave tasks unfinished. I believe in seeing things through, no matter the challenges, because I understand that true success comes from commitment and follow-through. My discipline and strong work ethic drive me to push past obstacles, learn from setbacks, and complete what I start. This mindset not only fuels my growth but also earns the trust of those who rely on me. Finishing what I begin isn’t just a habit; it’s a core value that defines who I am.

My life had spiraled out of control. Food had become my comfort, my escape, my prison. One bite turned into another, and before I knew it, I had gained so much weight that simply existing became a struggle. My body, once strong and capable, now betrayed me. Walking just a few steps left me gasping for air, my chest heaving as if I’d run a marathon. The weight pressed down on me not just physically, but emotionally. I was drowning in my own flesh, suffocating under the consequences of my choices.
One evening, after barely making it from the bathtub to the sink in the bathroom, I collapsed onto the floor, my lungs screaming for oxygen. Fear gripped me. This is it, I thought. I can’t breathe. I’m going to die. With the last bit of strength I had, I called for help. The ambulance arrived, and I was rushed to the hospital, where doctors worked quickly to stabilize me. My obesity had led to severe respiratory distress, and my body couldn’t support its own weight anymore. For eight long days, I lay in that hospital bed, machines beeping around me, tubes in my arms, my mind racing with regret. But through it all, one constant remained my mother’s prayers. She had always been a woman of faith, whispering prayers over me before bed, in the mornings, even when I rolled my eyes and told her to stop. Now, as I fought for my life, she was on her knees again, pleading with God to save her child.
I don’t know if it was the medicine, the rest, or divine intervention, but slowly, I began to improve. The tightness in my chest eased. My breathing steadied. The doctors warned me this was my wake-up call. If I didn’t change, the next time might be my last. But I knew it wasn’t just my body that needed healing, my soul did too. In that hospital room, I finally understood the power of my mother’s faith. God hadn’t abandoned me, even when I’d abandoned myself. He had brought me through the darkest moment, using my mother’s prayers as a lifeline. I never gave up on myself or God. I was raised to believe in God, and he can and will do all things through Christ.
When I was discharged, I left with more than just a second chance. I left with gratitude for the doctors, for my mother’s unwavering love, and for a God who hears even the faintest cries for help. The journey ahead wouldn’t be easy, but this time, I wouldn’t walk it alone. I'm currently married, working on my DBA, just got married, and still keeping God first. That situation was a major challenge that I overcame.
