My name is Declan, I am a high school senior with a passion for healthcare and a deep desire to make a positive impact on my community. My ultimate goal is to become a dentist, an aspiration fueled by my interest in science and a commitment to helping others achieve better health and confidence through quality dental care. Growing up, I faced significant challenges after the tragic loss of my father in a motorcycle accident when I was just seven years old. This experience has shaped my perspective on resilience and determination. With my mother as the sole provider, I witnessed firsthand the financial burdens that followed our loss, as my father had no life insurance. Despite these hardships, my family has remained close-knit and supportive, instilling in me the values of hard work and compassion. I am particularly passionate about giving back. I intend to volunteer my time and resources to provide dental care to underserved communities, ensuring that everyone has access to the essential health services they deserve.
