Coming from a humble Mexican family, I though my life goal was to get married and become a mother at a young age. That that was all I aspired to be, but that is not true. I found a passion for law and an aspiration to become a role model to young women who, like me, believed that becoming a housewife was all they could aspire to be. By receiving scholarships, I can show not only young women, but also those in minority communities that there is so much more to life. There are so many opportunities out there and I plan to show them.
