Bio

My career goal as well as my life goal is to make a difference in the lives of others. As a two-time cancer survivor, I have faced the very real possibility of my story coming to an end and consequently considered what the legacy of my life would be. It is with this backdrop that I am motivated daily to not only personally make the best out of each day, but to also help others make the most of their opportunities. My reason for choosing Organizational Leadership as a degree program is to further develop the skills to help inspire others. It was President Reagan who believed that "The greatest leader is not necessarily the ones who does the greatest things, He is the one that gets the people to do the greatest things." This is not manipulation, but motivation. An example of this principle is that of even the most revered football coaches not once throw a touchdown pass or make a crucial tackle in the actual game. Their gift is the ability to bring out the best of their players so that they can make those plays and achieve their goals. My career goal is to help develop as many people as possible to believe and achieve their personal and professional goals.
