This is a song I call “Piece of Me”. I wrote this song in a very dark place, as my long term relationship had just come to an end. It describes how I felt a piece of me was missing when I lost my other half. When this happens it feels like you’re lost and your world flips upside down. The feeling of having someone to depend on, gone, in an instant. The verse of the song describes how I feel I’m missing my other half and also how even though this person had everything they wanted, they still weren’t happy.
