Although I am a rising junior in college, I will never forget the impact that the AP courses I took in high school still have on me. All of the takeaways I got from taking those challenging courses have allowed me to be successful in my undergraduate studies and life. I am very grateful to be able to have the opportunity and support to go to college and eventually law school, but I will be faced with a lot of debt. I am an extremely motivated and driven student who believes education is key to success, and I do not want to allow financial circumstances to hinder my success. I have always been an overachiever; therefore, in high school, almost all of my classes were AP. I even took AP electives like AP Art. Most of my friends were also enrolled in AP and dual enrollment courses, allowing us to connect on a deeper level because we all understood the challenges that came along with balancing a demanding course load, studying for AP exams, and consistently working hard to succeed. As students in high school, my friends and I were unknowingly surrounding ourselves with high-achievers. Looking back now, these challenging courses brought us together with other students who were like us. We learned how to stay humble when others knew more than us, we learned our strengths and weaknesses, and learned to be kind to everyone because we were all students just trying to get through high school. Some had goals to come out with all A’s, some had goals to be the best on the field, and some simply just needed a passing grade. No matter the student’s end goal or circumstance, we all shared one thing in common. We wanted to feel welcomed. We wanted to know that our teachers had our backs, that we could get help if we needed it, and that we would find our people. Looking back, these challenging courses prepared me to not only work hard academically, but also to be understanding and supportive towards others facing challenges of their own. They taught me that success means very little if you are not also kind to the people around you. I have been shaped into someone who values both determination and kindness, which I believe reflects the Giles family motto. I am a first-generation college student with immigrant parents. They do all that they can for my brother and I, but it is difficult having two children in college. I have told them I will take over my undergraduate and law school loans. I know it will be difficult, but not having a higher education isn’t an option for me. I have always dreamt of becoming an attorney, and I believe education is one of the greatest opportunities and sources of empowerment a person can have. I have always done everything I can to support my family, whether that meant working two to three jobs at a time, applying for every scholarship opportunity I could find, or teaching myself how to code and building my own company this past year that is now beginning to generate revenue. Financial hardships have never discouraged me from pursuing a higher education. Instead, it has strengthened my work ethic and deepened my appreciation for every opportunity that I am given. It has taught me that true success comes not only from working hard, but also from remaining compassionate and supportive toward everyone I meet along the way.

When I was younger, my parents nicknamed me the "household lawyer" because I could find a loophole in almost any rule. Whether I was defending why dessert should be my dinner or arguing that my "curfew" was more of a suggestion, I loved building my cases and presenting them with confidence. At the time, I was just a little girl who knew what she wanted, but looking back, I see how that same fire and persistence have shaped my path toward law. Today, that curiosity has grown into real experience. This past summer, I had the opportunity to intern at a real estate law firm and am now working as a law clerk during my sophomore year of college. In these roles, I am learning how the law operates in practice - how deadlines, client needs, and legal details all come together. I've been exposed to case research, client preparation, and the inner workings of hearings and closings. These experiences are teaching me the discipline and precision that not only the legal field demands, but that the workforce in general demands. Through my internship and role as a law clerk, I have had the privilege of being mentored by and shadowing incredible attorneys. They have shown me that success in law is not only measured by winning cases, but also by treating people with dignity, compassion, and fairness. Watching how they balance confidence with kindness has inspired me to pursue a career where I can be both an effective advocate and a supportive guide to others. My name is Dasha Melamed. I am a first-generation college student majoring in Political Science at the University of South Carolina. I am currently in my sophomore year of college, and I plan to attend law school after my undergraduate years. Although my academic interests reflect my plans to attend law school, I have always believed that leadership and initiative are built through action, and not just grades and coursework. One of my most significant achievements has been building and creating my LLC, StudentSwap. 14 months ago, my idea for this company started as a class project. We had to come up with an idea to improve the lives of students on campus. I came up with a campus-exclusive peer-to-peer marketplace that was designed exclusively for college students. The idea of StudentSwap stemmed from my realization that there were no platforms just for students to buy and trade dorm essentials, textbooks, clothes, etc. My slogan is: "A marketplace made for students, by students." I think that earns my platform a lot of credibility since I am working hard on something for the betterment of my peers. Launching such a platform was not a straight path. I had previously worked on another project that I spent a year creating, met with the Mayor of Greenville to pitch to, met with investors and mentors, and received lots of candid feedback. Through those experiences, I learned a lot about myself and the business world, and decided to redirect my goals as an entrepreneur. I learned that it is much more valuable to build something I am actually passionate about than to build something merely to show on my resume or to a recruiter. I used all of my insights to refine my model, refine my mission, strengthen my business plan, and relaunch something I wanted to put my all into. That is why I am so proud of StudentSwap. It truly reflects my eagerness to learn from my mistakes, step outside the box, and take a chance on myself. Alongside entrepreneurship, I have a profound interest in the world of law. The law is something that affects us everyday whether we realize it or not. I currently work as a law clerk at a real estate firm in Columbia, SC, where I spend most of my time when I am not in the classroom. I get to assist with real estate matters and civil litigation processes, handle sensitive legal documents, observe court proceedings, and gain insight into the precision and professionalism that is required in the legal field. Most recently, I was interviewed and selected to serve as a University 101 Peer Leader for the upcoming semester at the University of South Carolina. This is an achievement that I consider one of the most meaningful of my college career. This class, University 101, is designed to guide first-year students through their transition into college life. To me, being chosen for this role is an incredible honor that will come with lots of responsibility, which I am so excited for. My University 101 peer leader left a huge impact on me, and we still communicate to this day. I have always wanted to make a difference in people, and I think this is a great way to do it. I will mentor, facilitate classroom discussions, and serve as a resource and peer for these students. I remember how overwhelming college felt as a first-year student. It was a lot of fun, but it was also a lot of adjusting and growth in a short amount of time. I am so grateful I had such great mentors I met through my classes, my social sorority, the Entrepreneurship Club, and the Women in Business Council. Just having someone who is so invested in you and cares about your success means the world. Within my sorority, Alpha Delta Pi, I serve on the recruitment team and as an Alpha Leader, where my position is to mentor younger members and educate them on how to have meaningful conversations and recruit potential new members. I extend that mentorship beyond my sorority into the Entrepreneurship Club. I host weekly "Coffee Chats" with new members at a coffee shop of their choosing. During these one-on-one conversations, I walk them through my experience of building my business, explain the challenges I encountered, discuss how I handled and pivoted after feedback and constructive criticism, and answer any questions they may have about starting something of their own. I make sure to share not only my success, but also the mistakes and lessons I have learned. I want to inspire every student that they can truly conquer their goals if they work hard every single day and stay focused. What I have learned most about myself from being the founder of a company, working in a law firm, serving in multiple campus leadership roles, and now mentoring first-year students is that a constant theme emerges. I am incredibly motivated by growth and impact. Receiving this scholarship would further allow me to continue pursuing these goals with less financial strain, limiting some opportunities for me. I believe that one of the most urgent issues facing the criminal justice system today is human trafficking. According to the US Department of State, there are currently more than 27.5 million victims worldwide. Human trafficking is one of the biggest challenges that the criminal justice system has to deal with because it's so widespread and harmful. To truly make progress, efforts have to be focused on survivors' needs, sensitive to their trauma, and mindful of cultural differences. In my future career as an attorney, potentially a criminal attorney, I want to play a role in this fight by holding traffickers accountable in court and working to make sure all of the survivors are treated with dignity throughout the entire legal process. I hope to contribute to broader policy efforts in strengthening protections for victims and create real pathways that help them rebuild their lives. My goal is to contribute inside and outside of the courtroom by prosecuting or defending cases in a way to ensure fairness and justice. An effective response to dealing with human trafficking goes beyond winning cases. I would make sure to create an environment where survivors feel safe to come forward and know that their voices are valued. In the future, I hope to position myself to advocate for stronger protections, partner with advocacy organizations, and help bridge the gap between survivors and the system that is meant to serve them and bring them justice. Just this past summer, I had the chance to intern at a law firm. Although it was a real estate firm, my boss gave me a unique opportunity to step into the criminal law world. He kindly introduced me to two well-known defense attorneys based in Greenville, South Carolina. They allowed me to attend court with them, observe cases firsthand, and even talk with the judges after the court sessions. I was extremely intrigued in witnessing how attorneys shape outcomes and how much their advocacy can have on lives. Seeing this really confirmed my interest in pursuing criminal law. I made sure to take these opportunities and connections very seriously by writing handwritten thank you letters to the attorneys and judges I got to meet with and hand-delivering them so they would remember me as I continue building my path. I really wanted to leave a lasting impression, and this small act was my way to show appreciation, professionalism, and genuine interest in the field and all that I was taught. This allowed me to begin establishing a network of mentors and contacts who may mentor and support me down the road in my career. These experiences have really motivated me to continue seeking out opportunities in criminal law. I got the chance to work as a law clerk in Columbia, South Carolina while I am in school, and I graciously took it. However, my next goal is to intern with a criminal defense attorney this summer. I know that building a strong foundation of courtroom experience and legal knowledge is critical if I want to address a major issue like human trafficking in the future. I know that everyone faces challenges, but I believe it's in the face of adversity that we discover who we really are. As a sophomore in college, I have already encountered moments that tested my resilience, but I have come out stronger and more committed to making a difference for others. I vividly remember the day last semester that I received a message from my mom telling me she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. While my mom was undergoing surgeries, I wanted nothing more than to be there with her. At the same time, I was adjusting to college life, being away from home, and the heavy demands of my classes and coursework. Instead of allowing that moment to take me over, I leaned into my studies. By the end of the semester, I earned a 4.0 GPA, making the President's List. That experience showed me that resilience means focusing on what you can control and moving forward with determination. Instead of dwelling, I took that energy and focused it on something positive. I have always been a very academic student. I admit that I crave academic validation and take my studies very seriously. I try to push myself both inside and outside of the classroom. Over the summer, I interned at a law firm where I gained hands-on experience in the real estate legal world and was able to obtain a law clerk position here in Columbia, South Carolina, where I attend school. My long-term goal is to attend law school, and every experience I take on is building and preparing me for that future. Beyond my academics and school, I am very involved on campus. I serve as a mentor for the freshman girls in my sorority, where I meet with them once a week and help them transition into college life. I am also an active member of the Women in Business club, a pre-law fraternity, and the Entrepreneurship Club, where I get to explore my professional interests while networking with peers similar to me. Lastly, my greatest accomplishment is my startup, SureTap, which I founded in November of 2024. SureTap transforms physical access cards into digital ones using NFC technology. I created this startup to launch onto college campuses and have already met with schools, including the University of South Carolina, College of Charleston, University of Miami, and a few more. Starting something from scratch has definitely shaped me into a smarter, more hard-working, and resilient person. Service has always been a big part of my life. In high school I became a part of student council and helped raise over $50,000 a year for our designated charities. Since being in college, I have completed over sixty hours of community service with the Ronald McDonald House, where I've helped unload food deliveries, cook meals, clean and maintain the home, and even take care of the service dog that lives there. What I love most about volunteering for the Ronald McDonald House is that I know every time I help out, I am making life a little easier for the families who are carrying a heavy burden. One of the parts of my identity I’m most proud of is being trilingual. I grew up speaking Russian, became fluent in English, and studied Spanish until I became fluent. My ability to move between languages helps me connect with more people. Whether through community service, mentoring, building a startup, or helping my family through difficult times, I've tried to embody the philosophy that personal success is about lifting up others along the way in everything that I do.

In the late 90s, my mother and father made the courageous decision to immigrate to the United States of America. My father is from Kiev, Ukraine, and my mother is from Uzbekistan, a country that was once under Russian control. At home, you will typically find me speaking Russian. Russian was my first language, and it is still the main language in my household. At home, conversations with my parents in Russian help me keep the language alive and remind me how important it is to maintain that connection with my culture. My strong foundation in Russian has allowed me to pick up other languages more naturally. English was the second language I learned, and later, Spanish became my third. I took basic Spanish classes throughout my years in grade school, but by my sophomore year of high school, my mom encouraged me to take it more seriously, so she signed me up with a private Spanish tutor. Twice a week for two years, I sat down for lessons that were both challenging and incredibly rewarding. I am now fluent in Spanish. Learning Spanish has given me new ways to connect with people and has broadened my view of the world. Being trilingual has truly shaped me in many ways. I believe that Russian connects me to my roots and family, English allows me to succeed in school and professional settings, and Spanish has created opportunities for me to connect with an entirely different community. Switching between these languages, sometimes in the middle of conversations, has made me adaptable, patient, and broadened my view of the world. However, being multilingual isn't always easy. This past summer, while interning at a law firm and now working as a clerk, I quickly realized how important it is to maintain professionalism, even when stress levels are high. In the legal environment where I work, deadlines are strict, every detail matters, and mistakes can carry serious consequences. I have observed firsthand how these pressures can sometimes lead to frustration and conflict. Observing how attorneys and staff handled disagreements with clients and even among themselves taught me that leadership is about influence, composure, and the ability to bring others together. One of the best pieces of advice I have received from my boss, which I will carry with me throughout my life, is: Authority isn't always tied to a title; it comes from the person who remains most composed in a difficult situation. The first strength I would bring to the situation is my patience. Patience is a necessity in all aspects of life. In moments of conflict, many people just want to jump in and defend their own side immediately, which only adds fuel to the fire. I would try to calm down everyone involved and offer them the chance to express themselves one by one. From my own experience at the law firm, I saw how attorneys who practiced patience were much more effective in negotiations and team discussions. Their ability to just wait, listen, and reflect led to much clearer decisions and less tension. I have learned that people listen and trust those who can remain patient and clear-minded. By modeling this, I would set a tone to encourage calmness rather than escalation. I am a very empathetic person. I fully believe in looking at every situation from different perspectives and always putting myself in others' shoes before making a judgment. Arguments typically arise because people feel unheard or undervalued. As someone who values teamwork, I would strive to understand each person's perspective and acknowledge their feelings, even if I did not agree with them. In moments when employees are arguing, I would try to step in quietly and ask clarifying questions to try and remind everyone of the bigger picture and that we are all supposed to be a team. Even small gestures of empathy, like validating someone's frustration or showing understanding for their workload, could redirect the conversation more positively. Another important skill and quality that would be necessary is communication. I would use my communication skills to influence the group dynamic. Clear, respectful communication can reduce misunderstandings and build trust. I would try to paraphrase each person's concern to show them that I am listening and to ensure their message is being understood by others. I could encourage solutions by asking constructive questions like: "What outcome would feel fair to both of you?" This approach could move the group's focus towards problem-solving instead of personal attacks. I am currently running to be Vice President of Recruitment for my sorority, where one of my key responsibilities would be to guide both myself and the chapter members through moments of stress and high emotion. Communication will be the key to my success on our executive board and my sorority's success as a whole. In conclusion, even without a supervisor's title, I believe I can bring leadership qualities that influence a positive outcome in conflict situations. In November 2023, I returned home from school to find my dad collapsed on the floor. His chest was tight, and he couldn’t catch his breath. My heart raced as I immediately called an ambulance, unsure of what was happening but knowing it was serious. The paramedics arrived quickly, diagnosing him with a heart block, which required him to get a pacemaker. As I stood there, feeling helpless, I realized how critical it was for him not just to receive medical attention but also mental and emotional support during this terrifying moment. The fear and uncertainty we faced as a family were profound, but they also reminded me of how resilient we can be when we lean on one another. My dad’s experience taught me that mental health can be just as important as physical health, especially when navigating life-altering situations. Then, in December 2024, I recieved unexpected news that my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. The emotional weight of her diagnosis hit hard, and our family was thrust into a whirlwind of medical appointments, treatments, and the constant, looming uncertainty of what the future would hold. I saw my mom, usually so strong, struggle with her emotions, and I recognized that her mental well-being would play a significant role in her healing process. For me, it wasn’t just about supporting her physically; I had to also offer emotional support and be there for her when the mental strain of her illness felt overwhelming. I quickly realized that navigating these emotional waters required patience, empathy, and the ability to understand that people need not only medical care but also psychological support. These experiences with my parents' health crises reshaped my understanding of the mental health challenges people face in times of personal or familial trauma. They highlighted the importance of clear communication, patience, and advocacy. As I watched my parents struggle with their health, I was reminded of how essential it is to have a voice during times of vulnerability—whether it's advocating for the proper medical treatment or simply ensuring that mental and emotional health are being taken care of. My favorite athlete to cheer on for Team USA is equestrian, Boyd Martin. I first sat on a horse's back when I was seven. Since then, I couldn't imagine my life without horses or the sport. My admiration for Boyd Martin is deeply rooted in my experiences as an equestrian. Having ridden horses since childhood, I have always looked up to Boyd as a role model. His dedication, skill, passion, and love for his horses and the sport are truly inspiring, and his journey in the equestrian world exemplifies the qualities of a true champion. Numerous achievements and a relentless pursuit of excellence mark Boyd Martin's career. His ability to connect with his horses and bring out their best performances is a testament to his exceptional talent and hard work. Martin is a four-time Olympian. He has experience in the London 2012 Olympic Games, the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Games, the Tokyo 2020 Games, and the Paris 2024 Games. Martin has trained various horses from racehorses to baby horses up to the Olympic level. Watching him compete, I am always struck by his grace under pressure and unwavering commitment to the sport. Martin's success is not just a result of his natural ability, but also his dedication to continuous improvement and his deep understanding of horses. In 2021, Annie Goodwin, an extremely talented rider and one of Martin's students passed away from a riding accident. Annie Goodwin owned Fedarman B, or "Bruno" and brought him to the 4* level. After Goodwin's passing, her parents and fiancé asked Boyd to take on Bruno. It was always Goodwin's dream to make it to the Olympics with Bruno, and in Paris this year, Martin did just that. Boyd honored her memory by fulfilling her dream. This act of compassion and dedication highlights Boyd Martin's character and deep bonds that are formed within in the equestrian community. Boyd and Annie's story is a reminder that the sport is not just about individual achievements but also about the connections and shared dreams. In cheering for Boyd Martin, I am not just supporting a talented athlete, but also celebrating the values of perseverance, compassion, and community that he embodies. His journey and actions inspire me to strive for excellence in my own riding and to cherish the relationships I have formed through this incredible sport. Boyd Martin's legacy is one of greatness, both on and off the horse, and that is why he will always be my favorite athlete to cheer for on Team USA.

Community service is a quality I have embraced wholeheartedly through my active participation in my high school student council, the Spanish National Honors Society, Beta Club, and various volunteer initiatives. My dedication to helping and shaping my community for the better has helped carve a path of personal growth for me. I love helping others and giving back to my community and the people I share it with. As a member of my high school's student council, I have had the privilege of spearheading fundraisers for local charities. Over my years on council, we have raised over $300,000. In 2022, we raised $133,346 for Jasmine Road, which is a residential program for adult women survivors of human trafficking, prostitution, and addiction. In 2023 we raised $124,228 for Julie Valentine, which is an organization that provides free and confidential services to sexual assault and child abuse survivors. In 2024 we raised $130,041 for Battle Buddies, which provides veterans with PTSD a free service dog. The funds raised and donated helped provide essential services, support community projects, improve the lives of many, and reinforce the notion that collective efforts can lead to substantial positive change. My participation in Beta Club extended my service to the community by volunteering in various capacities. Whether it was cleaning up our local park, assisting at food banks, or helping at community centers, my actions contributed to the betterment of the community's environment. Over my three years in Beta Club, I have done over 60+ hours of community service. The time and effort my peers and I have dedicated to volunteering not only addresses immediate needs but also creates a ripped effect of kindness and civic engagement. In Spanish National Honors Society, I have volunteered around my school and community. On Fridays, we would go to elementary schools and teach Spanish to the after-school students. We used interactive approaches like games and crafts to make learning a fun and engaging experience for the children. In April, we spent a few afternoons cleaning the school to assist the custodians, and once a month, we were all assigned a specific date where we would come to school early in the mornings and tutor the kids in our high school struggling with their Spanish work. These endeavors enrich the community by promoting language skills and cultural understanding among young leaders. Finally, my passion for horses translates into community service as I teach lessons to children and volunteer at a horse farm. This unique contribution not only provides local youth with the opportunity to learn about horsemanship, but also instills in them values such as empathy, responsibility, and respect for animals and nature. Aside from teaching lessons, I feed the horses, clean and fill up their water troughs, and hold the horses for the vet, dentist, and farrier. The farm itself benefits from my volunteer work, ensuring the animals are well-cared for and the operations run smoothly. Each role I play and each hour I dedicate to these activities strengthens my community, making it a better place for everyone. I believe that my efforts demonstrate how your individuals can be agents of change, leading by example and inspiring others to contribute to the common good. I believe that if schools continue to offer these kinds of clubs, future generations of students will be involved in helping their communities. Schools could create mentorship programs that connect young people with experienced professionals to foster a culture of learning and personal development. These efforts could enhance the quality of life for current residents, while also laying down a strong foundation for future generations.

As I reflect on my experiences, one moment stands out where I demonstrated excellence in leadership, showcasing my abilities to motivate others. In my AP Macroeconomics class, we were assigned a group project where we were tasked with developing a marketing campaign for a makeshift business. We were assigned into groups chosen by the teacher. My team consisted of individuals with diverse personalities and skills, but we all desired to make the best marketing campaign we could and deliver an outstanding presentation. I feel that I have always been a natural leader, so I took the position of team leader. I recognize the importance of clear communication and collaboration. To start, I facilitated open discussions, making sure to listen carefully to each member's ideas and concerns. My main goal was to create an inclusive environment, encouraging everyone to contribute their ideas and perspectives. After we came up with a basis for our campaign, I assigned tasks based on individual strengths, ensuring that each person felt valued in the project's success. For example, if I felt someone was a strong speaker, I assigned them to the presentation role. Throughout the project, I maintained regular check-ins and provided constructive feedback when needed. I believe in leading with an empowerment approach rather than dictation. As a result, our group worked cohesively, leveraging our collective talents to produce our innovative marketing strategy. I believe that the impact of my leadership was vast. My group members felt confident in their assigned roles, and those who initially struggled with self-doubt gained confidence, recognizing their contributions were essential to the success of our project. The group's enthusiasm and collective motivation drove us to push past our initial goals. Our marketing campaign and presentation impressed our teacher and other classmates. I am so grateful that I got the position to lead my group. I feel that the experience demonstrated the power of effective leadership, showcasing how an inclusive and collaborative approach can bring out the best in individuals. By creating a positive environment that supports all the members of the group, my team was able to excel. This experience inspired me to lead with empathy, humility, and a commitment to empower others to reach their full potential. My plan for the future is to go to law school and become a lawyer. This project taught me skills that I know will be crucial whether it's for a project in college, law school, or working on a real case in a law firm. I am committed to being the best leader I can be in the future. I want to help those in need of justice for it. Eventually, I would love to become a managing partner at a firm. Although I know it will be very difficult work, I am determined to do it.

Throughout my years of high school, I am so grateful that I have been able to take such fascinating AP classes that have not only expanded my knowledge today but will help me to achieve higher education in the future. These rigorous courses have challenged me to think critically and manage my time effectively, which are skills essential to college and beyond. The diverse AP subjects I got to take have sparked my curiosity and allowed me to explore various academic interests, laying down a solid foundation for my future endeavors. I have taken various AP courses that have challenged and inspired me. I went to a charter school for my freshman year of high school that didn't offer AP classes, but as soon as I transferred to my current high school, I signed up for as many as I could. Since transferring to my current high school, I have taken AP Language, AP Psychology, AP US History, AP Biology, AP Macroeconomics, and AP Government. Each advanced course that I have taken has developed me into the student that I am today. AP Language taught me the importance of being diligent and persevering. Emphasis on effective communication has not only enhanced my writing and speaking skills but has also instilled in me the value of empathy and understanding others. Analyzing different writings and books has taught me to approach different viewpoints with kindness and respect, nurturing my ability to be considerate, hardworking, and open-minded. AP Psychology has encouraged me to be empathetic by learning and understanding the reasons behind people's actions, fostering a sense of kindness. Exploring the rich tapestry of the United State's past in AP US Government has not only provided me with a deep appreciation for the struggles and achievements of those who came before us but it's also shaped my character in great ways. AP Biology has certainly fostered kindness for me because I was taught to appreciate and understand every creature's role in the ecosystem. This gave me such appreciation for our world. AP Macroeconomics not only required a lot of focus to grasp challenging economic concepts, but it also taught me to look at the bigger picture of how our economy operates. I learned the impact of economic policies on individuals and communities of all brackets. Lastly, AP Government has opened my eyes to how the country is run and the importance of each person's role in democracy. Overall, each advanced course I have taken has taught me different material, but in the end, they all taught me patience, empathy, and how to be kind. In the early 2000's both my parents immigrated to America from Russia. They were both only allowed to bring a suitcase of their belongings and forty dollars in cash. My mother and father are the strongest and most hard-working people I know. They've instilled in me the values of hard work and resilience. Although my parents work very hard, college is still an expensive luxury that is necessary for me to achieve my higher education and career goals of being a family lawyer. My parents didn't get the benefit of being born in this country. They came here with close to nothing. They did everything they could to give my brother and I everything we needed, and I want to do everything I can to give that to others. Any amount of scholarship help is worth it and will help me make an impact on the world of law. I strive to make a difference and get justice for families and children who are struggling.

The best crossover episode would be between "Hannah Montana" and "Wizards of Waverly Place!" The title of this fascinating episode would be: "When Pop Meets Magic!" This episode will take place in New York City. Hannah Montana is set to perform in New York, and the Russo family from "Wizards of Waverly Place" just happened to win tickets to her concert. Excited to meet the pop sensation, Alex Russo devises a plan to meet Hannah in person, using her magic. On the day of the concert, Alex uses a spell to sneak backstage, but her spell messes up and she accidentally transports herself and Hannah to the Waverly Sub Station. There, Hannah is bewildered but is quickly charmed by the Russo family. Justin, a fan of order and rules, begins to devise a plan to send Hannah back in time before the concert begins. However, Max with his flirtatious personality, attempts to impress Hannah with his magic and wizard knowledge. Jerry and Theresa are thrilled to host a celebrity in their humble establishment. Amidst all of the chaos, Hannah's secret identity is nearly exposed when Harper, Alex's best friend and a huge Hannah Montana fan, walks into the Sub Station as Hannah is taking her wig off. Alex quickly escorts Harper out of the restaurant, promising to explain everything to her later. Once Harper leaves the restaurant, the Russos come together to perform a spell to teleport Hannah back to the concert venue in time. After many attempts, the spell doesn't work because the Wizarding Council put the Russo family on a 24-hour magic ban. After all, Alex's teleportation attempt was against the rules. Jerry and Theresa apologize to the council and beg for one more spell to get Hannah back to her concert, but the council turns them down. Hannah realizes she won't get back to the concert in time and feels like she let down her fans until Max comes in with an idea. He suggests having a concert at the Sub Station. It would allow a portion of Hannah's fans to still come see her, and it would bring in a lot of customers for the Sub Station. Hannah agrees and even invites Alex to perform one song with her. It ended up being a successful event. In the end, Hannah thanks the Russo family for their kindness and asks Alex to never try and teleport to her again. After some hugs and laughs, Hannah gives the family VIP tickets to her next concert and sets out to the airport to catch her flight back to California.
