Jeanne Kramme Fouke Scholarship for Future Teachers
As a high school student, I am passionate about becoming an early childhood educator because I believe that children are the future of our society and have so much potential to achieve greatness. I want to be a positive influence in their lives and help them develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in school and beyond. Early childhood education is crucial in shaping a child's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development, and I want to be a part of that important process. I am drawn to the idea of creating a nurturing and supportive environment for young children where they can feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore and learn. I believe that every child deserves to have a caring and dedicated teacher who can provide them with the guidance and support they need to thrive. By becoming an early childhood educator, I hope to make a difference in the lives of children and help them reach their full potential. I am also excited about the opportunity to work with children from diverse backgrounds and help them develop a love for learning that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. I believe that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and inequality, and by working with young children, I can help bridge the achievement gap and provide them with the tools they need to succeed. I want to inspire a love for learning in my students and instill in them a sense of curiosity and wonder about the world around them. In conclusion, becoming an early childhood educator is a fulfilling and rewarding career choice that allows me to make a positive impact on the lives of children and help shape the future generation. I am excited about the opportunity to inspire, educate, and empower young minds and help them develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed. I am committed to providing a caring and supportive environment for children to thrive and reach their full potential, and I look forward to making a difference in the lives of my students as an early childhood educator, so please help me get this scholarship so I can release some of my financial burdens because I want to push myself to be someone to help other and overall educate young minds and be the teacher you will always remember when you grew up.
      Success Beyond Borders
In my early childhood years, I faced immense challenges. When I was 7, we moved around a lot and always struggled to pay the bills. We first lived in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio where it was just me, my mom, and four other siblings. My father is an alcoholic and was not involved in our lives until I was about 12 years old. My mom had no job because she had 5 kids to raise alone, we couldn't pay the bills so we moved into Mt. Healthy. When my dad returned, we moved into a family home where my mother left for about 2 years because my mom and dad got into an abusive relationship. That caused us to move back downtown but when my parents separated, we moved in with my grandma who was on drugs, in a one bedroom apartment with 7 people living in it. During that time, my mom became an alcoholic, while she tried to still support her children, she still put all her burdens on her kids. Eventually, my father became involved again while my mother still had no job, she got diagnosed with spinal and breast cancer. At this point in my life I was suicidal. Still to this day, my mom has cancer even after her spinal surgery. Then at 16, My world revolved around boys as an escape from reality and overall as a distraction. At this point in my life I’d been the only one living at home with my parents so that overall made me isolate myself since I was the only one left and fell into depression going through all these issues with my mother and father and also the outside world and it was very overwhelming for me. Also at this point I’ve been seeking validation from my parents cause I was always trying to make them proud of me but I never got that from them . But at 17, how I overcame these and the lesson I learned from these immense challenges and obstacles is to prioritize your own feelings and putting yourself first and pushing yourself to reach your dreams and goals and to not seek validation from others than yourself and make your own self proud and try to rise above everything that goes own around you cause life has its ups & down’s you just have to choose how you take the bad things into account and how you can make them into good things & now my aspersions are being a early childhood educator & to educate young minds & show them they can be anything they want to be if they try hard enough, I want to be like the teacher miss honey from Matilda I always inspired to be her since I was younger & I would love for you all to give me this scholarship so I can be who inspire to be , this with help me take away some of my own financial burden so I hope you all would consider me.
