My goal is to become a Certified Nurse Midwife, but before hitting that milestone I want to have experience being a NICU nurse, and working with pediatric cancer patients. I currently hold my Certified Clinical Medical Assistant diploma. I currently work in pediatric primary care, pediatric gastroenterology, pediatric surgery, pediatric cardiovascular with some experience in convenient care. I am currently enrolled in the ADN program at Rasmussen University my graduation date is 06/18/23. I am also the President of our Student Nurse Association (RSNA) which follows the NSNA. I have a passion for helping people, and making sure they know never to give up on anything they want to do in life, becoming a nurse is my way of giving back to my community. As a first generation student, I struggle to pay for college, but I will not let that stop me from finishing school. My motto is “Being able to provide empathy and great patient care is not something you can be taught it is something you have to have within yourself.”
