Pets! We all love them and they all have little things that make them who they are. My pet is a french bulldog and her name is Coco! She loves to roll around on the grass, look out windows, wear cute clothes and grab my attention when I'm on zoom. I choose these photos because they show who she is, what she loves to do, and she looks absolutely cute in all of them!

My short-term goal has been focused on the financials and how I am going to pay for college at the moment. Though some of my attempts at lightening the load have been fruitless I still intend to continue this journey so I can pursue my career of choice. My long-term goals include building a business around making goods and sweets for dogs as well as making a cookbook for people to take my creations back to their kitchen. Dogs have always been a fascination for me in my life. They are gentle creatures who are companions for the lonely and even helpers for many with anxiety and depression, If I could help bring a little more sweetness into their lives it would make my degree in baking so much more meaningful. This mission pushes me forward and makes my determination stronger. This scholarship will allow me to progress in my short-term goals, lifting this burden more and more off my shoulders so I can focus on traveling through the baking world and making my mark as a baker for the furry companion in every dog owner's life.

Over the course of these 4 years of high school, I have improved in communication, creativity, self-care, and positive thinking. Throughout the years I have never been a social light, I’d often spend my time alone reading or doing creative activities that only involved me. In school, I would observe people because I found it easier to learn about people through their actions, rather than their words. As these years went by, I have learned to talk, and part take in more conversations. My creativity has improved most in 12th grade due to remote learning. This forced me to be home more and create more art. The more art I created, the more I improved my art and the way I saw it. When covid- 19 was in effect we were all forced to learn at home. This long period of isolation made me realize the lack of care I was giving myself. Now coming out of high school I have improved my self-care by exercising 4 times a week, meditating, and taking more breaks throughout working. I always had a habit of thinking of the many negative outcomes before the positive. I would also self-sabotage myself by thinking overly negative thoughts that would steer me from doing things. Slowly I am progressing towards avoiding these habits and thinking more positively. Although I have many strengths, I still have weaknesses that contribute to my personality. A few of my weaknesses are my stubbornness, my addiction to sweets, my fear of failure, and my lack of self-awareness. My stubbornness leads me to butt heads with many people I encounter. I have not taken some advice or done what people have told me because of this. I tend to go ahead with my actions and opinions despite other’s input. I will also be stubborn when someone tells me to stop eating candy/cake or any sweets in one sitting. I have a deep love and addiction to sweets that are hard to break. My problem is self-control when eating sweets because I would eat a whole bag of candy in one sitting instead of saving some for later. If I know I have a high chance of failing at something I don’t put in the effort. I will just not try at all or put in minimal effort. I really don’t like failing at all, and this is a problem because failing is a part of life. If I don’t at least try, then I won‘t know if I can do it or succeed. Then there is my lack of self-awareness. I don’t really pay attention to what I do so this makes this essay hard for me to write. I had to ask my mom, sister, and friends who I was to create this essay. This is a real problem because I don’t know how I affect the people around me and who I really am. I just live without awareness of myself. Within these 4 years of high school, 12th grade was the most difficult. With covid-19 rolling around and everyone forced to stay home really showed me what I had to improve on as a person. I hope to improve on my weaknesses now that I am aware of what they are.

Not all music is intentional. I came up with this piece with the help of my sister. We were bored and started putting different things together. At one point we found a sound to be the base and then built upon it. We kept throwing ideas between each other and ended up with this beauty. There really wasn't much thought or reason to making this song really. This was just something we stumbled upon and really liked in the end.

Scholarships help many earn the money they need to achieve the goals and dreams they want. Winning a scholarship will help me pay off my top college tuition. Paying off college is just the first step to achieving my goals to succeed. Going to college and getting the information and knowledge I need is what getting a scholarship can help me with. I will like to attend The Culinary Institute of America, to obtain a bachelor's degree in food business management and baking & pastry arts. I can not fully pay for tuition out of pocket and would need a bit of assistance in paying my tuition.

A hero is a person who is admired or idealized for outstanding achievements or noble qualities. For me, I admire and want to be like my mom. Her name is Necauri Fabian and she has been through a lot in her life. It is her hardships that have pushed her to work harder than most. Necauri has been through a lot of obstacles in her life. As a kid, she was a great student but did get into a lot of fights with others. The fights she got into were to protect her friends. She has shown she would be there for her friends no matter what. This loyalty that she has shown is a quality that I have obtained from her. Loyalty Is a strong quality that I use toward my friends, my work, and my family. She never went to college like other people at her job. Her bosses would look at the ones who did as more successful. This is not true though; my mother has been working for years without any college degree and still surpasses the ones who do have one. This has pushed her to do online college, go to work, and spend time with us. This strength and determination she shows is something I work towards. I want to have that level of strength and determination when it comes to my work. I strive to have her levels of strength and determination, so one day I could be as successful as her and show her what she has done for me. My mother shows us that life is not all set in stone. She was still able to go to college and have a great life despite the many setbacks in her past. With determination, strength, Loyalty, and Persistence, anyone can turn their lives around and still get what they want. I admire her for all the hard work she has done to care for her family and how she just keeps ongoing. She has determination, persistence, a caring attitude, and the want to keep learning. I am not as persistent, determined, caring, or strong as her, But I will work up to her level of strength one day. She is someone I would like to be my model as a person. In the baking career I want, I will bring with me the knowledge that I can always change what's going on in my life. Nothing is fully set in stone and I have the power to change it for the better. I will bring a caring attitude, strength, determination, and a thirst for more knowledge.

Memes are a way to express ourselves and show people our humor. I chose this meme because it is accurate to me. I find it hilarious that me and many other people react this way when someone calls us. Memes help us laugh at our anxiety, fears or situations when you have been through.

My favorite scientist is Marie curie. She discovered two radioactive elements called, radium and polonium. She has also helped find treatments for cancer and created x-rays for world war 1.

My definition of bold is probably different from what you were expecting. The time I did something bold was when I painted a painting of my body. I'm pretty body-conscious and was afraid this was not going to be a good painting. A "self-portrait" was new to me and I even used paint I never used before. This was an overall risk in my department because I didn't really know where to start. I even made sure it would glow in blacklight. It's my favorite canvas I have made so far. After making it I felt better about my body.
