I am deeply drawn to civil engineering because it brings together creativity, problem solving, and service. My interest in the built environment began through designing, modeling, and exploring how physical spaces shape the way people live. Under the mentorship of a professional architect, I gained a closer look at purposeful design and the impact that thoughtful planning can have on communities. As a civil engineering student, I am passionate about using innovation to improve the future of construction and infrastructure. I currently serve as the Civil Engineering Representative for the Klesse Student Advisory Council and am involved in environmental research and Habitat for Humanity. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to leadership, service, and creating practical solutions that help others. My long-term goal is to merge civil engineering with AI, robotics, and emerging technologies to help modernize the construction industry. I hope to contribute to research, innovation, or entrepreneurship that makes construction safer, smarter, and more efficient while keeping communities at the center of my work.
