My name is Daniel Zizza. I am from a city not far from Boston, called Peabody. I have a brother, sister dog, and divorced parents. I plan to attend Bentley University, and this scholarship will help my parents and I both afford the books and supplies. At the beginning, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go into engineering or business. However, through my different electives such as accounting, economics, intro to engineering, and digital electronics. I have learned skills of 3D printing and the basics of binary. I also learned business skills such as giving quick pitches, T accounting models, and basics in taxes. This introduced me to the stock market. I plan to use these skills in college and work hard in my future internships and jobs to show that I am better than my other applications. This is why I think my achievements put me in from of my other competitors. My parents divorce also forced me to become more independent than my peers. I was forced to work 2-3 jobs at a time. I gained experiences in retail, restaurants, and golf country clubs. Through this scholarship, it will help me pay for my first year of college.
