My name is Daniel Gomez and I am a motivated young man with a strong interest in building a stable and meaningful career as an electrician. I enjoy working with my hands, solving problems and understanding how things work behind the scenes. Since, I was a little boy, I found myself curious about electrical systems. Whether it was helping fix small issues at home or learning how circuits work in school. In May 2026, I will be graduating from AAEC High School with not only my high school diploma but also with my Associates Degree at South Mountain Community College. I am a motivated individual that works very hard to be successful in not only in life but also for my future career. I have enrolled with RSI trade school and start June 1st, 2026. I realized that a traditional four year college path was not the best fit for me. Instead, I wanted a career that offers practical skills, job stability, and the opportunity to grow through hands on experience. Electricians play a critical role in keeping homes, businesses, and communities running safely and efficiently, and I want to be part of that. I am highly interested in this trade because of the constant demand for skilled workers and the opportunity for advancement. My goal is not only to become a licensed electrician but to specialize in areas such as residential wiring or renewable energy systems. I am excited about the idea of contributing to modern energy solutions and helping communities transition toward more sustainable practices. Financially. pursing trade school is a significant commitment for me and my family. This scholarship would help ease that burden and allow me to focus fully on my education and training. I am committed to working hard, maintaining strong attendance, and taking full advantage of the opportunities provided through this program. Overall, I am determined, hardworking, and eager to learn. I believe that pursuing a career as an electrician will allow me to build a secure future while doing work that I genuinely enjoy. I was given the opportunity to volunteer and spend some time with my family member named Jarrell Childers, who runs his own electrician business. It was a great opportunity to learn and ask questions. What excites me the most about becoming an electrician is the combination of precision and responsibility. My goal is to also become a licensed electrician and eventually run my own small business, providing reliable and honest service in my community. Thank you for considering my application.
