TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) MOA Scholarship
1.I found TXT in 2023 when I first got into kpop. The first song I ever listened to by them was Sugar Rush Ride from the Temptation album.
2.One of the most important characteristics for a Moa is inclusion and empathy. Whether it is supporting other Moas or people who stan other groups everyone should have a place where they feel like they belong. In the bad moments of the day people should be able to have a fan group that they can seek comfort in.
3.My TXT bias is of course the one and only YEONJUN!!!! I was first introduced to TXT by one of my friends and her bias was Yeonjun so he was the first one that I was introduced to, but even watching group videos he was always the one that stood out to me. He has such good visuals and a good voice and his performances are always amazing and he just makes me smile.
4.My ultimate bias is a tie between Felix or BangChan from Stray Kids. I am a Stay at heart and Felix was the first one that I was drawn to one for his voice, two for his visuals and three for his personality. He is so funny and I always find comfort in watching his videos. Recently, however, I have been drawn to BangChan. He is such a caring and sweet person to his fans and he is so talented. I love his voice it is so heavenly.
5.My favorite TXT songs are Beautiful Strangers and I’ll See You There Tomorrow. Beautiful Strangers is such a beautiful song and everything about it is amazing. The vocals make me feel like I’m floating on a cloud, the vocals just draw me in and the lyrics are so romantic. Also the back track is so amazing it just draws me in. The first time I heard I’ll See You There Tomorrow, I was waiting outside my house to catch the bus that was running late. The moment I heard the beat it was so catchy that I started dancing in the middle of my street that's how hooked I was.
6.Sadly I have not seen TXT in concert before.
7.My favorite album concept was the love language and sanctuary album. I don’t know why but I was so drawn to it when it came out and I love seeing all the members in red or with red backgrounds they all just look so good. I think the concept is more cute and light and I like that better than some of the bad boy concepts.
8.I am about to enter my freshman year of college and I am planning to take out a student loan in order to pay for college that I will pay back after college.
9.This scholarships can help me pay for some of tuition and also some of it could go towards books and other things I need for classes.
10.TXT has given me a place that is a comfort zone and that whenever I am having a hard time I can always turn to their music to relax and make me feel like everything is going to be ok and that I have somewhere that I belong.
11.I want to become a pharmaceutical researcher and develop and discover new medicines that can help people in my community and people all over the world with health issues that they are struggling with.
Go Blue Crew Scholarship
My career and educational goals are firmly rooted in the field of pharmacy, a subject that I believe holds the potential to impact individuals and communities alike. I have set my sights on pursuing a degree in pharmacy at the University of Toledo, an institution renowned for its exceptional, accelerated PharmD program. My ultimate dream is to become a pharmaceutical researcher, a role where I can dive into drug development and contribute to significant breakthroughs in medicine that can transform lives.
My fascination with pharmacy and chemistry originated during my sophomore year of high school when I took my first chemistry class. The subject drew me in, revealing a world of possibilities in understanding the chemical principles that make up all matter. The complexity and beauty of chemical interactions ignited a passion within me, wanting me to take further courses like AP Chemistry and AP Biology. I found myself increasingly drawn to the laboratory experiments, where I could experience the thrill of discovery firsthand. One of my favorite experiments was done in AP Bio when we tasted PTC paper, extracted DNA from our cells, chopped it up with an enzyme, and performed gel electrophoresis to see our alleles. This hands-on experience was exhilarating, and it only furthered my desire to explore the unknown. Each experiment reinforced the belief that a career in research would not only provide the intellectual challenge I seek but also satisfy my curiosity about the world.
Beyond my personal ambitions, I am driven by a strong commitment to making a positive impact within my community. I am continually motivated by the idea of using my skills in pharmaceutical research to help address pressing health challenges. As I develop my knowledge and expertise in this field, my goal is to contribute to the creation of groundbreaking medicines that can significantly impact public health. Whether it involves developing new treatments for chronic diseases or advancing therapies for underserved populations, I am energized by the potential to improve health outcomes for people. Ultimately, I seek to enhance the quality of life for those around me, creating a healthier society.
In summary, my educational journey is centered on my passion for pharmacy and chemistry, with a focus on pharmaceutical research. I am truly excited about the opportunities that lie ahead at the University of Toledo. I eagerly await starting on this academic path that mixes my love for science and experiments with my desire to positively influence the lives of others. Through hard work, dedication, and a lifelong commitment to learning, I aspire to make substantial contributions to the field of pharmacy and serve as a catalyst for change in healthcare.
