Jamaica-born and New York raised, I am an incoming MD candidate at Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) with a background in federally funded health research, clinical research coordination, and health equity advocacy. I hold an MS in Biomedical Sciences from EVMS and a BA in Biochemistry and Economics from Hunter College, and I have spent the past several years working across institutions including Memorial Sloan Kettering, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, and NYU. My work is driven by a deep commitment to closing health disparities for underserved communities, and I am eager to bring that mission into my clinical training and future practice as a physician.
