Some day I would like to be an interpreter. I am in the ASLIE program at RIT. I want to become an interpreter because my family is deaf. I have seen them struggle and I want to help the whole deaf community. At first, I didn't want to be an interpreter, and I had no clue what I wanted to do with my life. But in 2014 my mom had twin boys who were both deaf my parents, and then again in 2015 she had another deaf son. Resulting in my three youngest brothers being deaf. As soon as they were born, I realized I want to become an interpreter and make the world a better place for them. Also to allow them to have equal opportunities.
