I am incredibly passionate about learning the history of people of color in the US. Through my own Asian-American identity, I understand how taboo the subject of mental health can be. That is why I hope to become a mental health activist, melding my two interests of ethnic studies and psychology to research and create solutions in lowering the stigma against mental health for all groups of people in the United States of America.
