Recovery means to me a new beginning a new way of life. I have been in recovery now for 14 months. It all started about a little over a year ago I was homeless moving from place to place with my 9 year old son, I had a great friend who seen me and took me in and help me get on the right path I started going to NA meetings in Ronan, MT I was welcomed with open arms. I then got my eval done through Cedar Creek in Ronan and got myself accepted into a treatment program known as RCM (Recovery Centers of Montana) it was a 30 days program that I did complete successfully I was then released and got into the NARSS program located in Pablo, MT which has helped me with housing a good environment for me and my son. Since then I have had help and guidance along my path I am still involved with my recovery I chair my own NA meetings, I now work full time and go to school full time and I would of never thought that this life would ever be possible, until I found recovery, and recovery found me I am so thankful for how much growth I have made this far and all the accomplishments I have made and still continue to make recovery has shown me a new way to live.
