My name is Cristian Young, a proud creative from Freehold, NJ, where I graduated from Howell High School with a 4.0. I’m currently pursuing a degree in Sound Design with a minor in Music Production and Business Management/Entrepreneurship at SCAD. Currently, I lead the Sound and Music Department of a student run production company and run my own clothing brand, balancing both while staying focused on my studies. As a black student, I carry with me a deep desire to inspire. I want to show others who look like me and even beyond that, that it’s okay to dream boldly and chase those dreams with everything you have. I believe that no dream is too small, and even the smallest steps can lead to something extraordinary! I am determined to earn my master’s degree and leave behind more than just accomplishments—I want to leave a legacy of hope, inspiration, and impact. My mission is to create something timeless, whether it is a nonprofit, a business, my contribution will live on long after I’m gone, reminding others that they, too, can change the world.
