Bio

I plan on pursuing two degrees and want a doctorate in both. But before achieving my goals, I must attend higher education in my preferred areas. The two subjects are Computer Programming and Organic Chemistry. Having a background in the two subjects is to unify technology and nature to solve some of the world's problems today: cancer, Alzheimer's, and other illnesses. From what I have been taught by my highly respected high school professor, organic chemistry is the natural way in which the world works. Computer programming has created simulations and real-world scenarios that we could only hope to imagine. Unifying a man-made process and natural occurrences will, in theory, allow for the simulation of natural happenings within the body and the theoretical restoration of afflicted humans. All I want to do is help others live happily without worrying about illness, so I seek higher education to achieve my goals.

As the world changes and the checklists that each job requires to function increase, I will always be able to adapt and excel. But this is because of the help and rigorous childhood that my father put me through to better my future. An ideal instance was when my mother and I were driving to our family reunion in Iowa. We were about three hours away from the event, and our tire popped. I was thirteen, did not know much about cars, and was stuck on the side of the road in the blistering heat of the Midwest. My mom had a spare tire, but we lacked the tools that came with the car to take the wheel off. For some odd reason, my mother had a wrench that fit perfectly around the nut. Without stripping the nut, I attempted to remove the tire but lacked the strength. While brainstorming to deal with taking the tire off, another problem crossed my mind; we could not lift the car to take the wheel off even if we got the nuts off. So I came up with the idea to move the vehicle to the side of the interstate and have the wheel (front driver's side) that we wanted to take off raised from the ground because I needed to be able to take the tire off of the axle. After I got the tire off the ground, the next problem was that I did not have enough leverage to take off the nuts. A multitude of ideas bounced around in my head; most were good ideas until I thought about how to put them into action. Finally, after many moments of thought and no action, I grasped an idea that seemed to have no surface-level flaws. The idea was to get an object to extend the wrench so that I would have more leverage. Then I had to find a pipe that fits around the wrench. Fortunately, my mother took a bar table to the family reunion, so I took the table apart, giving me a metal bar. After putting the wrench in the metal bar, I had enough power to take off the nuts. I replaced the tire and tightened the nuts the same way I took them off. I look back on this stressful moment and realize that my ability to adapt and excel shows my perseverance and creation of ideas that the world could use.
