I am a junior at Greenville University pursuing a dual degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I am passionate about creating inclusive classrooms where every student feels seen, supported, and capable of success. My goal is to become an educator who not only teaches content, but also builds confidence, character, and a genuine love for learning.
Through my field experiences, I have worked with diverse learners and have seen firsthand the impact that thoughtful, inclusive instruction can have on a student’s growth. I am especially interested in designing hands-on and creative learning experiences that make academic content accessible to students with varying abilities and learning needs.
In addition to my academic work, I serve as a Resident Assistant on campus. This leadership role has strengthened my communication skills, responsibility, and ability to build meaningful community. Balancing coursework, field placements, and leadership has taught me resilience, organization, and perseverance.
I am committed to advocating for students who may not always advocate for themselves. Receiving scholarship support would allow me to focus more fully on my preparation as an educator and continue pursuing my calling with excellence and dedication.
