I am the best candidate because I am collaborative, digitally competent, goal-oriented,and creative. I was ranked valedictorian of my senior class. I was an intern for the Center for Strategic and International Studies. I am a part of and a leader in several organizations. I am the Executive Assistant to the President and social media chair of my campus NAACP, lead senior editor for the campus television show, and the lead producer and engineer for the campus radio station. I am also a member of Freddye T. Davy Honors College on campus. I am passionate about volunteering and community service. I even started a non-profit organization called Never 2 Old to Party. We celebrate birthdays each month at a senior citizen living facility. We gift them with balloons, cupcakes, and personalized cards. I have also given the homeless food multiple times and provided them with clothes and more. I have started a partnering project from my non-profit organization, called Never 2 Far 2 Celebrate. This service is targeting incoming freshmen girls on my campus. Each month of school, I will be making birthday cards for every girl. I am also passionate about film and cinematography. I have worked with elementary school children and taught them how to edit their videos on iMovie. My life goal is to be successful in my craft. I want to be able to work with Disney, DreamWorks, and Netflix as an editor. I want to continue to volunteer and serve my community. I also want to be financially stable to create the house of my dreams. Overall I want to have an enjoyable future.
