Growing up in Pueblo, Colorado, I witnessed many of my peers battle against mental illness and substance abuse. Often, they had problems finding affordable and easily accessible care for their needs. This has motivated me to want to help those who may not have access to care due to finances. I want to provide effective mental health care to communities that may not always have a chance to access these services.
